In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Lincoln Northeast Rockets football squad scored a decisive 42-0 victory over the Bryan Bears.

The Rockets (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Benson (Omaha, NE). The Bunnies enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Benson was routed by Buena Vista (Omaha, NE), 34-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bears confront the South Sioux City Cardinals (South Sioux City, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 13. Bryan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
