Wyoming High School Football - Lyman triumphant over Burns
September 6, 2024: Lyman, WY 82937 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Lyman Eagles (Lyman, WY) and the visiting Burns Broncs (Burns, WY), witnessed Lyman's football squad wallop Burns by a tally of 48-6.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cokeville (Cokeville, WY). The Panthers enter the 2A West contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Cokeville was trounced by West Jefferson (Terreton, ID), 27-7, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Broncs confront the Tongue River Eagles (Dayton, WY) in a 2A East contest, on Friday, September 13. Burns will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 34-0 non-league loss to Hot Springs County (Thermopolis, WY).
