September 6, 2024: Jacksboro, TN 37757 The Campbell County Cougars (Jacksboro, TN) football knocked off the visiting King's Academy Lions (Seymour, TN), 21-13 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Cougars now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clinton for a 5A Region 3 outing on Friday, September 13. Campbell County will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 48-13 non-league win over Scott (Huntsville, TN). The Dragons record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, King's Academy drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 13. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Lenoir City lost 42-6 in their recent non-league outing against Sevier County (Sevierville, TN)
