California High School Football - Nevada Union overwhelmed by Christian Brothers

September 6, 2024: Grass Valley, CA 95945

In Friday's non-league test, the Christian Brothers Falcons (Sacramento, CA) football squad overwhelmed the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), by a margin of 35-0.

The Falcons now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jesuit for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. Christian Brothers will meet a Marauders squad coming off a 46-7 non-league win over Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA). The Marauders record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Nevada Union drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Miners travel to El Camino (Sacramento, CA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-3. El Camino lost 30-6 in their recent non-league test against Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA)
