In Friday's non-league game, the Findlay Trojans (Findlay, OH) football team overcame the visiting Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH), by a tally of 35-20.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 13. Findlay will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 45-14 non-league loss to Whitmer (Toledo, OH).
