In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Wood River Eagles football squad scored a good 33-14 triumph over the Hershey Panthers.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Fairbury (Fairbury, NE). The Jeffs come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Fairbury went down by Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE), 14-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Panthers meet the Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 13.
