In Friday's non-league game, the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) football team triumphed over the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), by a tally of 55-0.

In their next game, the Cowboys battle the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A game, on Friday, September 20. Southwest Guilford will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Pirates enter the game with a 0-3 record after their 48-6 non-league loss to Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC).
