September 6, 2024: Charlotte Court House, VA 23923 The James River Knights were victorious over the host Randolph-Henry Statesmen football team by a score of 20-12 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights face the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. James River will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Fighting Blues enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 46-38 non-league loss to Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA).
The Statesmen (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA). The Ospreys enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy ran past Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA), 19-6, in a non-league challenge.
