New Hampshire High School Football - Keene wallops Spaulding
September 6, 2024: Keene, NH 03431 The Keene Blackbirds football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Spaulding Red Raiders to 7 in the Blackbirds non-league triumph on Friday.
The Blackbirds now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nashua South for a Division I - West test on Saturday, September 14. Keene will meet a Purple Panthers squad coming off a 21-15 league win over Bishop Guertin (Nashua, NH). The Purple Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Spaulding drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Winnacunnet (Hampton, NH) to meet the Warriors in a Division I - East test on Friday, September 13. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 1-0. Winnacunnet won 30-20 in their recent league test against Portsmouth/Oyster River (Portsmouth, NH)
