Ohio High School Football - Tuscarawas Valley defeated by Martins Ferry

The Martins Ferry Purple Riders were victorious over the host Tuscarawas Valley Trojans football team by a score of 34-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Purple Riders face the St. Clairsville Red Devils (St. Clairsville, OH) in a Buckeye 8 - South challenge, on Friday, September 13. Martins Ferry will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record.

The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Malvern (Malvern, OH). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Malvern ran past Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH), 53-0, in a non-league challenge.
