September 6, 2024: Mound, MN 55364 The Mound-Westonka White Hawks football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Spectrum Sting to 0 in the White Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The White Hawks now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Big Lake for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Mound-Westonka will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 54-12 non-league loss to Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Spectrum drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Sting travel to Elk Mound (Elk Mound, WI) to meet the Mounders in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Mounders come into the test with a record of 1-2. Elk Mound lost 36-8 in their recent league test against Regis (Eau Claire, WI)
