September 6, 2024: New Hope, PA 18938 The Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA) football trounced the host New Hope-Solebury Lions (New Hope, PA), 54-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Spartans now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elizabethtown for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 14. Springfield Township will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to J.P. McCaskey (Lancaster, PA). The Bears record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, New Hope-Solebury drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA) to clash with the Lions in a Freelance outing on Friday, September 13.
