The North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA) football were winner over the visiting Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA), 33-21 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Griffins now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Center for a non-league outing on Friday, September 13. North DeSoto will clash with a Roughriders squad coming off a 49-28 non-league win over Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Union Parish drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Farmers host Alexandria (Alexandria, LA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league outing on Friday, September 13. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Alexandria won 44-7 in their recent non-league outing against West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA)
