Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX), 21-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Taylor advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Ducks travel to Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX) to play the Vikings in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Lago Vista lost 44-26 in their recent non-league battle against Connally (Waco, TX)

The Cougars now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Rudder for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Pflugerville Connally will play a Rangers team coming off a 21-17 non-league win over El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 2-0.
