The Rivercrest Rebels football squad scored 25 points and limited the host Quitman Bulldogs to 12 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarksville for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Rivercrest will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 30-24 non-league loss to Boles (Quinlan, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Quitman drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to White Oak (White Oak, TX) to meet the Roughnecks in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Roughnecks come into the test with a record of 2-0. White Oak won 34-32 in their recent non-league test against Pewitt (Omaha, TX)
