South Pointe Christian Patriots (Pageland, SC) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Pointe Christian improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to Carolina Christian Academy (Lancaster, SC) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-1. Carolina Christian Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against South Pointe Christian (Pageland, SC)

The Defenders now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sandhills Classical Christian for a test on Tuesday, September 10. Christ the Cornerstone Academy will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Cornerstone Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.
