Maryland High School Soccer - Urbana knocks off Howard
September 6, 2024: Ijamsville, MD 21754 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Urbana Hawks (Ijamsville, MD) and the visiting Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD), saw Urbana's soccer squad knock off Howard by a count of 3-0.
The Hawks (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD). The Barons enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Bethesda-Chevy Chase tipped Tuscarora (Frederick, MD), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Lions battle the Tuscarora Titans (Frederick, MD) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 7. Howard will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, MD).
