The Chester Yellowjackets volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears to 1 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now have a 23-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hardin-Jefferson for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 7. Chester will play a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 8-15.
