September 6, 2024: Newport Beach, CA 92663 Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Harbor Pirates (Santa Cruz, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Newport Harbor improves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Sailors host JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to face the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Lions go into the test with a record of 9-4. JSerra Catholic won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA)
The Pirates now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foothill for a non-league test on Friday, September 6.
