Virginia High School Volleyball - Oakton can't hold off Atlee
September 6, 2025: Mechanicsville, VA 23116 In Saturday's non-league match, the Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA), by a score of 3-2.
With the win, Atlee improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Raiders host Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA) to encounter the Patriots in a Capital battle on Thursday, September 11. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 4-2.
The Cougars now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centreville for a Concorde contest on Tuesday, September 9. Oakton will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Edison (Alexandria, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.
