South Carolina High School Volleyball - Catawba Ridge winner over Greenwood
September 6, 2025: Greenwood, SC 29649 Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Greenwood Eagles (Greenwood, SC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Catawba Ridge improves its record to 11-3 on the season. The Copperheads travel to Eastside (Taylors, SC) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Eastside won 3-2 in their recent league test against Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC)
The Eagles now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Emerald for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Greenwood will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mauldin (Mauldin, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-1.
