The Blue Ridge Barons football team scored 21 points and restricted the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops to 12 in the Barons league win on Saturday.

In their next game, the Barons face the Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Blue Ridge will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Cadets go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 38-0 non-league win over Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA).

The Bishops (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Hargrave Military Academy toppled The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA), 28-7, in a non-league challenge.
