The Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots felled the host Catoctin Cougars football team by a score of 18-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots play the Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 12. Governor Thomas Johnson will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 40-0 non-league win over St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD).
