September 6, 2025: Marcola, OR 97454 The Mohawk Mustangs got by the visiting Pilot Rock Rockets football team by a score of 22-16 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Riddle Irish (Riddle, OR) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 12. Mohawk will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Irish come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 40-24 non-league win over Yoncalla (Yoncalla, OR).
With the defeat, Pilot Rock drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rockets host Perrydale (Amity, OR) to meet the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
