Ohio High School Soccer - Waverly toppled by Miami Trace
September 6, 2025: Waverly, OH 45690 Miami Trace Panthers (Washington Court House, OH) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Waverly Tigers (Waverly, OH), 11-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Miami Trace moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Chillicothe (Chillicothe, OH) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Frontier Athletic test on Tuesday, September 9. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a record of 0-6. Chillicothe lost 12-1 in their recent non-league outing against Marietta (Marietta, OH)
Next up, the Tigers play the Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) in a Southern Ohio II bout, on Tuesday, September 9. Waverly will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Blazer (Ashland, KY).
