The Douglas County Huskies were victorious over the host Smoky Hill Buffaloes football team by a score of 14-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Rock Canyon Jaguars (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Douglas County will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.

The Buffaloes (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Prairie View (Henderson, CO). The Thunderhawks come into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Prairie View was defeated by Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO), 42-14, in a non-league game.
