New York High School Football - Middletown nudges Rye
September 6, 2025: Rye, NY 10580 Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the host Rye Garnets (Rye, NY), 13-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Middletown improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Middie Bears travel to Warwick (Warwick, NY) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
The Garnets (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarkstown North (New City, NY). The Rams go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
