Colorado High School Soccer - Rifle toppled by Summit
September 6, 2025: Rifle, CO 81650 Summit Tigers (Frisco, CO) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Summit moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Basalt (Basalt, CO) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Longhorns go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Basalt lost 1-0 in their recent non-league outing against Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO)
Next up, the Bears confront the Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 11. Rifle will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Rams go into the outing with a 2-0 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Basalt (Basalt, CO).
