September 6, 2025: Topsham, ME 04086 The Mt. Ararat Eagles soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Mt. Blue Cougars to 1 in the Eagles league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Bangor for a Class A - North bout on Tuesday, September 9. Mt. Ararat will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Mt. Blue moves to 0-1 on the year. The Cougars host Skowhegan (Skowhegan, ME) to play the River Hawks in a Class A - North bout on Tuesday, September 9. The River Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Skowhegan won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Lawrence (Fairfield, ME)
