The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Ripley Warriors (Ripley, OK) and the visiting Mangum Tigers (Mangum, OK), observed Ripley's softball team get by Mangum by a tally of 4-1.

The Warriors (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against Drumright (Drumright, OK). The Tornadoes go into the non-league bout with a 7-7 record.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Merritt Oilers (Elk City, OK) in a 2A contest, on Monday, September 8. Mangum will attempt to improve on its 15-6 season record. The Oilers enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 15-1 non-league win over Vici (Vici, OK).
