Alabama High School Volleyball - Hewitt-Trussville can't hold off Alexandria
September 6, 2025: Trussville, AL 35173 In Saturday's non-league match, the Alexandria Valley Cubs (Alexandria, AL) volleyball squad tipped the host Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL), by a final score of 2-1.
Next up, the Valley Cubs confront the Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 6. Alexandria will attempt to better on its 16-3 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA).
With the loss, Hewitt-Trussville drops to 9-4 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Brentwood (Brentwood, TN) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 9-3. Brentwood lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Summit (Spring Hill, TN)
