Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Rim of the World Fighting Scots (Lake Arrowhead, CA) and the host Apple Valley Sun Devils (Apple Valley, CA), saw Rim of the World's volleyball squad nudge Apple Valley by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Rim of the World improves its record to 8-9 on the season. The Fighting Scots travel to Fontana (Fontana, CA) to encounter the Steelers in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Steelers go into the contest with a record of 5-7. Fontana lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Eisenhower (Rialto, CA)
