Iowa High School Volleyball - Roosevelt can't hold off Atlantic
September 6, 2025: Atlantic, IA 50022 In Saturday's non-league match, the Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders (Des Moines, IA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Trojans now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lewis Central for a Hawkeye Ten bout on Tuesday, September 9. Atlantic will clash with a Titans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA). The Titans record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Roosevelt drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Lincoln (Des Moines, IA) to battle the Railsplitters in a Iowa Alliance - North match on Tuesday, September 9. The Railsplitters enter the match with a record of 2-2. Lincoln won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lamoni (Lamoni, IA)
