September 6, 2025: Big Rapids, MI 49307 The Big Rapids Cardinals volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Union Red Hawks to 0 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cardinals now have a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Escanaba for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Big Rapids will play a Eskymos team coming off a 3-1 league win over Menominee (Menominee, MI). The Eskymos record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Union drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Red hawks travel to Thornapple Kellogg (Middleville, MI) to face the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 9. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 1-3. Thornapple Kellogg lost 3-0 in their recent league game against South Christian (Grand Rapids, MI)
