The Big Valley Christian Lions volleyball squad (Modesto, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Fresno Christian Eagles (Fresno, CA)

With the win, Fresno Christian improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Hughson (Hughson, CA) to encounter the Huskies in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 9-1. Hughson won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA)
