The Bridgeport Bulldogs volleyball squad (Bridgeport, OH), was defeated 3-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Madonna Blue Dons (Weirton, WV)

With the win, Madonna improves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Blue Dons host Toronto (Toronto, OH) to meet the Red Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. The Red Knights enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Toronto won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wellsville (Wellsville, OH)

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH) in a Ohio Valley 2A challenge, on Monday, September 8. Bridgeport will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to River (Hannibal, OH).
