In Saturday's non-league match, the Brownsboro Bears (Brownsboro, TX) volleyball squad tipped the visiting New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX), by a count of 2-1.

The Bears now possess a 10-18 record. They play next when they travel to Lindale for a 4A Region II District 15 bout on Tuesday, September 9. Brownsboro will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 18-8.

With the loss, New Diana drops to 12-15 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Union Grove (Gladewater, TX) to battle the Lions in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 9.
