In Saturday's non-league match, the Burke Cougars (Burke, SD) volleyball squad prevailed the host Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 11. Burke will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Rustlers come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Warner (Warner, SD).
