September 6, 2025: Maxwell, IA Hillcrest Academy Ravens (Kalona, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Hillcrest Academy improves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Ravens travel to H-L-V (Victor, IA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. H-L-V lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA)
Next, the meet the Meskwaki Settlement Warriors (Tama, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Collins-Maxwell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to H-L-V (Victor, IA).
