The East Nicolaus Spartans (Nicolaus, CA) volleyball knocked off the host Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 15-1 record. They play next when they host Paradise for a Sacramento Valley bout on Tuesday, September 9. East Nicolaus will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, CA). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-7.
