September 6, 2025: Emmetsburg, IA 50536 Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting South Hardin Tigers (Eldora, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Emmetsburg improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The E'Hawks host Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 5-6. Newell-Fonda lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA)
The Tigers now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dike-New Hartford for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. South Hardin will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Beckman (Dyersville, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 12-3.
