Virginia High School Volleyball - Episcopal over Nansemond-Suffolk Academy

The Episcopal Maroon (Alexandria, VA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Maroon now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to StoneBridge for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. Episcopal will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Denbigh Baptist Christian (Newport News, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Saints host Collegiate (Richmond, VA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, September 12. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 4-5. Collegiate won 3-0 in their recent league match against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA)
