The Monterey Trail Mustangs nudged the host Forest Lake Christian Falcons volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now possess a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bear Creek for a non-league game on Saturday, September 6. Monterey Trail will confront a Bruins squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Tokay (Lodi, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 0-7.
