California High School Volleyball - Freedom held off by San Rafael

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the San Rafael Bulldogs (San Rafael, CA) and the host Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA), observed San Rafael's volleyball team hold off Freedom by a count of 2-1.

The Bulldogs (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Marin Academy got by Justin-Siena (Napa, CA), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Falcons meet the Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) in a Bay Valley contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Freedom will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Kimball (Tracy, CA).
