The Germantown Mavericks (Madison, MS) volleyball overcame the visiting South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league match.

Next up, the Mavericks battle the Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 6. Germantown will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 7-10 record after their 3-1 league win over Greene County (Leakesville, MS).
