Virginia High School Volleyball - St. John's tips Independence

September 6, 2025: Ashburn, VA

The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) and the host Independence (Ashburn, VA), saw St. John's's volleyball team tip Independence by a tally of 2-1.

The Cadets (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Pride come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Heritage was nudged by Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the meet the Riverside Ram (Leesburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Ram come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to James Wood (Winchester, VA).
