September 6, 2025: Plainfield, IL 60544 Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Knights (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, West Aurora beat Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars face the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. Plainfield South will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 7-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Wauconda (Wauconda, IL).
