September 6, 2025: Pine Hill, NM 87357 Lordsburg Mavericks (Lordsburg, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Pine Hill Warriors (Pine Hill, NM), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lordsburg improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Animas (Animas, NM) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Animas won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM)
Next, the Warriors meet the Zuni Thunderbirds (Zuni, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Pine Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Ramah (Ramah, NM).
