September 6, 2025: Toulon, IL 61483 Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Pekin advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Dragons travel to Elmwood (Elmwood, IL) to face the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 7-2. Elmwood lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL)
Next, the Rebels play the Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Stark County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL).
