North Carolina High School Volleyball - St. Mary's crushed by Providence Day

September 6, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28270

In Saturday's non-league battle, the Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) volleyball squad toppled the visiting St. Mary's Saints (Raleigh, NC), by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Providence Day moves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Chargers host South Charlotte (Indian Trail, NC) to meet the Thunder in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. The Thunder enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. South Charlotte lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association (Concord, NC)

Next, the Saints meet the Ravenscroft Ravens (Raleigh, NC) in a NCISAA Triangle Independent test, on Tuesday, September 9. St. Mary's will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Ravens go into the test with a 6-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Bunn (Bunn, NC).
